Prime Plus

The PLUS model is equipped with INTERLOCK COMPACT, a mechanical tool clamping system. This locking mechanism ensures repeatability and precision, especially for long tools. Compatible with ISO and HSK tapers.

Connectivity 4.0

The CONTI VISION SYSTEM software, serving as the interface between the presetter and the operator, integrates with a PC and the latest-generation Microsoft® operating systems. The presetter can be connected to a company network via LAN or WI-FI. Information can be transmitted from the presetter to the machine tools over the company network, thanks to a Post Processor integrated into the software. Automatic data BACKUP system for settings, machine zero points, and tool lists.
The presetter can also be integrated with other tool data transmission systems such as TALK©, Balluff®, etc. Remote support is available via TELEDIAGNOSTICS. TALK© is an advanced system for writing tool data directly into the CNC tool table.

Constant geometry technology

From M.CONTI’s experience comes the CONSTANT GEOMETRY TECHNOLOGY (C.G.T.). The choice of materials is the core of this technology. M.CONTI ensures CONSTANT GEOMETRY under all operating conditions through the use of HOMOGENEOUS MATERIALS with IDENTICAL THERMAL EXPANSION CHARACTERISTICS.

Tool sleeves

WIDE RANGE OF INTERCHANGEABLE SLEEVES, EASY TO CHANGE WITHOUT THE USE OF TOOLS.

The crucial contact point between the tool and the presetter: the SLEEVES. So important that M.CONTI manufactures them in-house to maintain full control over processes and quality. The sleeves are easily interchangeable without the use of tools. Each sleeve includes integrated zeroing spheres, eliminating the need for master cones or zeroing gauges. Switching from an ISO taper to an HSK or CAPTO is extremely simple and takes only a few seconds.

M.CONTI’s experience has shown that having only a few contact points during sleeve rotation does not ensure long-term precision and repeatability. Therefore, a wide and uniform contact surface (200 cm²) has been created between the flange and the sleeve body to ensure measurement stability and accuracy, while also nearly eliminating wear—common in single-point contact designs.

Ergonomics

M.CONTI’s experience has made it possible to fully appreciate the use of the presetter in all its nuances. For this reason, ergonomics and ease of use have always been key elements in every M.CONTI design. Everything is within reach, with movements that are quick, smooth, and compact.

  1. Axis movement is smooth and effortless, thanks to perfect weight balancing and a grip designed for maximum ergonomics.
  2. Large micrometric knobs, precise and easy to operate.
  3. 19” vertical wide LCD monitor, optimally positioned for a comfortable viewing experience, even during extended use.
  4. Wireless mouse placed on a dedicated shelf, with easily accessible USB ports for quick data saving and backup via USB stick.
  5. M.CONTI tool sleeves, manufactured in-house, are designed for easy interchangeability.

Quality control

Quality has no compromises—every one of our products is inspected in a metrology lab using the most advanced techniques.

Laser Interferometer

M.CONTI uses a Laser Interferometer System to carry out the final inspection of each individual presetter before it enters the market.

Tool cone testing

The tool holders are tested using special instruments that ensure accuracy to within a tenth of a degree.

3D 5 Axis coordinate measuring machine

Our components are inspected in a 5-axis 3D CMM metrology machine, and the inspection report is attached to the product’s serial number for full traceability.

Interlock
System

System developed by M.CONTI for universal mechanical tool clamping. Maximum compatibility when using different types of sleeves and shanks. Designed to provide maximum REPEATABILITY, especially for tools with extended heights.

Conti Vision System

Simplicity, multilingual support, and an intuitive design make the CONTI VISION SYSTEM software accessible to everyone. All main functions are consolidated into a single screen. Creating machine zero points and storing tool data is not only simple but also extremely fast. The tool measurement interface, in addition to dimensional measurements along the X and Z axes, also functions as a true CAD system, enabling the acquisition of geometric measurements of the tool profile.
